Ok, so my old HD developed several "flaws", and I got a new one.

Any suggestions on things to put on it?

Too late!

Already set things up - and got old HD working again :-)

However, you "can" put more than one operating system on your computer
:-)

Yes, I know, I have dual boot Win98 and Mandrakelinux.

I've kept Win98 because of some prog's that I paid for, but most of the
time now, I'm on Linux, getting to know it.
